Description
Α coaxial cable is used where a small outer diameter is required in connection with a large wire cross-section. Especially for cable conduits where the speaker cable lies between cables which emit strong interferences. Normally a copper mesh shielding is used for coaxial cables. However, this will
render them unnecessarily stiff and inflexible, making multiple reeling almost impossible.
We use a dual reversely stranded helical Cu mesh screen for our SPK cables. This offers a better shielding than conventional copper braidings and makes the cable incredibly flexible.
When used as a speaker cable, the twisted screen is used as a second conductor. It has the same cross-section as the inner conductor.
Space-saving diameter due to coaxial construction
Excellent shielding due to the dual reversely stranded helical copper mesh screen
