Merging
GeNetix nodes support merging, configurable per port. The merge options are: None, HTP, LTP, Lowest IP address, Highest IP address.
When set to HTP, for each of the channels on that universe the node uses the highest level received from all sources sending to that universe.
When set to LTP, for each of the channels the node uses the data received from the latest source. The node only changes to data from the other source when the data from that source has changed in value, or when the first source has been timed out. LTP merging is only supported for a maximum of two sources.
When set to Highest IP address or Lowest IP address the node merges each universe based on the data from the source with the highest or lowest IP address respectively. For example, a house system can be set as a very low IP address and then merging set to “highest IP” to enable incoming consoles to have priority over the house system.
