The new smoke rendering, improved bloom, a new lens flare effect, and the ability to customize image settings all contribute to making renders even more realistic.

Editing

In Capture 2026, the property tables, which form the basis of the "Fixtures" tab as well as the "Layers" category in the "Design" tab, have been replaced with a new implementation, taking editing to a whole new level.

The new GeNetix family by ChamSys simplifies data distribution with a complete range of Nodes, Gateways, Switches and PoE devices.

GeNetix GW2O & GW21

GeNetix Mount Node 2  is a two-port wall mount PoE powered node, available to fit into standard single gang EU/US & UK backboxes. Available with either male or female physical RDM Direct DMX ports, both versions support both DMX Input or Output. GeNetix Wall Mount Node 2 is ideal for any fixed installation, supporting Art-Net and sACN and configurable from ChamSys consoles, via its in-built web server or over Art-Net.

GeNetix GN2

GeNetix Node 2 is a two-port Ethernet-DMX node that is compatible with any console supporting Art-Net and sACN. GeNetix Node 2 can also be used as a USB interface for MagicQ PC systems, unlocking MagicQ into reduced mode when connected via its USB-C or Network port.

Configuration is simple, whether done locally via its in-built display, remotely with its onboard web server or from the console. Powered by either PoE or its USB-C port, this versatile device is at home in many different environments as a standalone interface, truss-mounted in the rig via its M12 receiver or installed via its DIN rail mount.

GeNetix Node 2 supports Art-Net, sACN, RDM and supports both DMX input or output from its two DMX ports.

GeNetix GN5

GeNetix Node 5 is a multipurpose node that provides a solution for remote data distribution in a wide variety of applications, notably offering support for Timecode, MIDI and 10Scene.

This universal interface supports Art-Net, sACN, RDM and like all GeNetix nodes is fully configurable from ChamSys consoles, via its in-built web server or via the display on the unit. Its DMX ports are fully configurable, allowing for use as DMX Input or Output and has configurable DMX timings. With two network ports, GeNetix Node 5 can be either PoE or Mains powered via its powerCON TRUE1 line input. This versatile device is at home in many different environments as a standalone interface, truss-mounted in the rig via its M12 receiver, installed via its DIN rail mount or rack mounted via its optional rack ears.

The interface's LTC and MIDI ports provide both Timecode and MIDI notes input/output to MagicQ systems over ChamNet as well as supporting Art-Net timecode compatible with any system supporting this, making GeNetix Node 5 ideal for applications where the Timecode or MIDI source is away from the console.

When connected to MagicQ PC Systems via USB, GeNetix Node 5 unlocks MagicQ PC Systems in Full Unlocked Mode, acting not only as a DMX interface, but also as a Timecode, MIDI and 10Scene gateway, making the full power of MagicQ software available to systems running on Linux, Mac or PC. When used as an Art-Net/sACN node the GeNetix Node 5 unlocks up to 2 MagicQ Instances via Network.

GeNetix Switch 8

GeNetix Switch 8 is an eight-port unmanaged Gigabit PoE network switch that provides a total output of up to 200W of Power over Ethernet across its 8 ports. Ports 1-4 support IEEE 802.3bt up to 100W per port. In modes A & B, all ports support 802.3af and 802.3at standards. This rack mountable switch features a rear PowerCon True1 Mains input connector and is also truss mountable via its M12 threaded insert.

GeNetix GS5IP

GeNetix Switch 5 IP is a five-port IP65-rated unmanaged Gigabit network switch that can be powered either via PoE or via Mains power to its PowerCon True1 Mains Input connector. This compact and rugged all-weather device comes with multiple rigging options for easily mounting in your rig. Port Status LEDs provide visual indication to know if ports are connected/active and if running at Gigabit speed.

With 400 universes without the need for external processors, the new ChamSys MagicQ MQ500M+ Stadium console allows ultimate control of the most demanding shows.

ChamSys MagicQ MQ500M+ Stadium is equipped with 2 Display Port++ External Monitor ports, supporting the use of up to 8 touch displays (4 via remote network).

In addition, the new console features built-in Wi-Fi for connecting to the Remote Focus app, a built-in 4-port Gigabit Network Switch and Audio In/Out ports.
