Arbane Groupe is the result of the alliance launched in 2016 between APG and Active Audio. It is the first French group to combine historical expertise in the field of professional audio and public address.

APG's NESS is the first free spatialization software supported by a manufacturer. NESS processes incoming signals in real time across 16 inputs to create virtual sound stages for a speaker system.

Active Audio was founded in 2002 by Xavier Meynial,a professor specializing in acoustics. Developing its own technologies, such as DGRC (Digital and Geometric Radiation Control), the company designs and manufactures loudspeakers that offer perfect speech intelligibility in difficult acoustics, and are intended for use in public places such as train stations, airports, churches, conference rooms and elsewhere.
