The APG iX6 is a two-way coaxial full-range loudspeaker. The bass section is entrusted to a 6.5" bass-reflex driver to optimise the low-frequency bandwidth.
The high end of the spectrum is reproduced by a coaxially integrated dome tweeter, perfectly aligned with the the bass driver. The result is a particularly linear response. This particular set-up, used by APG since 1990 gives the iX6 a 120° conical acoustic opening that is maintained beyond 10kHz. In addition to its compact dimensions and limited weight, the APG iX6 speaker is characterised by its anti-diffraction baffle, which gives it excellent phase linearity. The result is sound performance studio listening, with superior efficiency and power handling. The iX6 has an impedance of 8 ohms. It can also be integrated into 70/100V line systems using an optional 50W or 100W transformer (option T50 or T100).
The ergonomic iX6 offers all the functions and options for fixed indoor installation: discreet format Phoenix flush-mount connectors, 3/8 metal inserts for use on a mic stand. M8 metal inserts are used for mounting, by means of a dedicated loop. Reference IX6W is the white version. The iX6 can also be customised in colour - IX6COL.
