The APG DX8 is a compact, two-way, full-range loudspeaker. The bass/midrange section is entrusted to an 8" long-expansion bass-reflex loaded driver mounted coaxially with an 1" compression driver for the treble section.
Like other speakers in the APG Dispersion series, the DX8 is equipped with a set of coaxial loudspeakers, giving it a coherent sound field over a conical sound aperture of 105°. The DX8 is characterised by by its size/power ratio, its clarity of sound reproduction and its particularly comprehensive and sophisticated ergonomics: The cabinet features a 30° cutaway for floor-standing operation and incorporates two recessed handles, a base for a standard 36 mm stand and a receptacle for the QRFS30 removable hanging accessory.
Metal inserts can also be fitted to the ETDX8 bracket for fixed installation. The DX8 can be fitted with a transformer for distributed PA applications where 70V/100V line cabling is required (options T50 or T100).
