The APG DX5 is an ultra-compact two-way full-range loudspeaker. The bass/midrange section is handled by a 5" long-expansion bass-reflex driver mounted coaxially with a dome tweeter.
Like other speakers in the APG Dispersion series, the coaxial technology and the acoustic baffle guarantee a particularly coherent and linear sound field with a substantial reduction in diffraction phenomena. The acoustic aperture is conical at an angle of 110°. In the case of the DX5, the tweeter is physically aligned with the woofer, resulting in a highly linear phase response.
The DX5 is characterised by its ultra-small size and acoustic performance, both in terms of power and quality of sound reproduction. The ergonomics are complete: a 30° cut-off for floor placement in close proximity, a 45° cut-off for floor placement further away, a base for installation on a microphone stand and protected, concealed connectors for discreet cabling. Metal inserts allow mounting on the ETDX5 as a fixed installation or as a service.
