The APG DX15 is a compact, two-way, full-range multi-purpose loudspeaker. The bass/midrange driver is a 15" Neodymium bass-reflex loaded unit. Proprietary heat transfer technology reduces the losses inherent in thermal compression, resulting in a high dynamic capacity at low frequencies.
The treble section is entrusted to a 1" coaxial Neodymium HF driver, offering extended response up to 20 kHz. The DX15 uses coaxial technology to give it a perfectly coherent sound field over an 80° conical aperture. Passive filtering is to manage the phasing of the loudspeakers and obtain linear amplitude and phase responses at a cut-off frequency that limits distortion levels to a minimum. The original construction of naturally features two sides at 30° and 45°, as well as two side blanks in which all the ergonomic functions are integrated: two handles for easy gripping and handling of the speaker in any position, protected positions, protected connectors, a stand base and a receptacle for hanging options.
The ATP90 option includes an angle adjustment indexing plate with ETDX15 bracket, which is concealed in the blanks. The QFS4 option includes 4 pieces of fittings for quick and secure attachment using screws or ball pins. The DX15 operates with mono amplification and requires the use of an APG processor in music and high-power applications.
